Licensed Therapist

Family Guidance Center has been serving the Mental Health needs of the Berks County Community for over 115 years. Our agency promotes and support the personal and professional growth of adults, children and families in Berks County and surrounding areas by providing quality, culturally relevant counseling and related services that empower people to improve the quality of their lives.

We are currently looking for a caring, compassionate and motivated Licensed Therapist with experience to join our team at our Wyomissing and our satellite locations.

Our therapist conduct initial assessments, develops a plan for treatment , assesses progress and modifies or expands treatments accordingly. Completes accurate and timely clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries).

Requirements:

      • Licensed Therapist
      • Minimum of 1 year’s experience
      • Ability to be “ON Call” on a rotating schedule
      • Pennsylvania State Criminal History Check
      • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
      • FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services
      • Bilingual is a Plus

 

Licensed Therapist with EAP Experience

Inroads Employee Assistance Program at Family Guidance Center is currently looking for a caring, compassionate and motivated Licensed Therapist with experience to join our EAP team at our Wyomissing location.

The EAP Therapist role includes:

      • Provide assessments and short-term counseling services.
      • Refer clients to appropriate internal and external resources as required.
      • Be an active member of a clinical team, participating in committees and mentoring as appropriate.
      • Consult with supervisors, managers and/or human resource professionals who contact program for guidance.
      • Provides management and organizational consultations to company management, as well as responds to workplace trauma, crisis, and loss.
      • Provide presentations, workshops, and webinars to client companies.

Requirements:

      • Licensed Therapist
      • Minimum of 2+ years post master’s degree; EAP experience and CEAP credential preferred
      • Ability to be “ON Call” on a rotating schedule
      • Pennsylvania State Criminal History Check
      • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
      • FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services
      • Bilingual is a Plus
