2020

Family Guidance Center hosted a DRIVE-THRU Holiday Family Fun Event. Although COVID-19 changed our party plans, we were excited to still have a way to bring some holiday cheer to our community! A drive through our parking lot led to dancing elves, holiday music, and collection of a gift bag filled with goodies. Santa found some time in his busy schedule to bring all participants some holiday cheer!

Stress: Unique Challenges for Today’s Teens and their Parents
An Interactive Zoom Presentation

Multiple participants joined our therapist, Frederick Indenbaum, Ed.S, LPC, VIRTUALLY on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 for an interactive Zoom presentation. The presentation  addressed the teen years, which are filled with unique challenges as well as indelible life experiences. Discussion centered around common teenage stressors, coping, responses and symptoms of stress, and what can be done to help combat stress in a teenager’s life.

The Second Annual Mind Your Health was a go – VIRTUALLY!

Unfortunately, we felt it was in the best interest of both our guests and volunteers to cancel our in-person event due to the current COVID-19 guidelines. However, what do you do when you can’t share a great message in person? Share it virtually, of course! Visit our Mind Your Health page to view our message.
