Jennifer Miller, M.A.
Jennifer received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Kutztown University. She works most frequently with adults, but occasionally sees seniors, adolescents, and children using an eclectic modality of therapy which is tailored to each client’s needs. Her areas of specialty include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma / PTSD, Biofeedback, Anxiety, Depression, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Jennifer consistently incorporates mindfulness concepts and techniques when working with clients in their recovery. In addition to her work in DBT with clients with Borderline Personality Disorder, Jennifer has utilized biofeedback techniques to assist clients with ADD/ADHD and hypertension. Earlier in her tenure with Family Guidance Center, she facilitated the Children in the Middle program. She also has experience in biopsychosocial assessment of bariatric surgical candidates. Jennifer has also received additional training in gestalt therapy and trauma-informed treatment.
